Capsule Collection: VOLUME:ONE
Utilising Wool & Cotton Sateen
Study of Form between the Body and Fabric
VOL:One exists as an episodic memory of the neo-future. “Neo” implies a reimagining of said future, one which combines that of past visions with contemporary and/or unconventional elements. Inspired by avant garde works by renowned designers including Yohji Yamamoto, Issey Miyake, and Christophe Lemaire, this collection takes shape and alludes to traditional Japanese kimono in conjuction with modern Eurocentric styles.
VOL:One exists not as a prediction, but as a reflection of a speculative future. It is grounded in the aesthetics of quiet disruption, an ode to garments that function as architecture for the body. By embracing the irregular, the voluminous, and the unconventional, this collection challenges ideals of standardised tailoring in favor of silhouettes that present an alternate narrative - one that is quietly profound and deeply intentional.
In this neo-futurist realm, clothing is no longer just worn - it is inhabited, formed by memory, tradition, and the shapes of tomorrow.
